Day 2

Today we hiked Diamond head crater and toured iolani palace. Talked to Lauren in the morning and she started screaming. That was hard. We tried again a little later and it was better. Diamond head wasn't too difficult. It was kind of weird hiking on desert-like terrain. The view from the top was amazing! We also stopped at the Pali lookout, which is a cool spot where the wind blows really hard. Afterwards, we went over to Iolani Palace, which is the only palace on American soil. It was really interesting. Today was Mom and Dad's 50th Anniversary and the reason we took the trip. They are such a wonderful example of a gospel centered marriage and I'm grateful for them and their years of happiness. When I look at the family they have created I am so grateful for their diligence in raising their family in righteousness. I am lucky to be their daughter. Happy Anniversary!

Morning facetime with Lauren. This was right before she screamed.

Cool tree with roots coming down and going into the ground

Bathtub and shower in the 1800s. Pretty amazing!
