4th of July: Freedom Run, parade and swimming

The 4th of July was a great day! Starting with the Freedom Run. George and I started running together, but George is much faster than me so I gave him permission to leave me in the dust. It wasn't my best run and the last mile was all slightly uphill (much harder than you would think). All in all, it was fun activity. George did great and I did ok. It was a fun thing for us to do together. Cami did it too. Here are some fun pictures...
Yes, the running pictures were staged...
We caught the parade at the end of the route. It was so HOT! The nice lady sitting next to us kept asking if we needed anything to help Max stay cool. She gave us a water bottle and a mostly melted Otterpop.

We finished the day with a trip to the Draper pool and a BBQ with the family.
My favorite part is that we got to hang out all day with daddy (on a Wednesday no less). It was an awesome holiday!

4th of July festivities: balloons!

Seeing the balloons has become a new favorite tradition. We went last year too! Max loved it and kept saying "big balloon".  It was early, but totally worth it!
We have the nasty smoke to thank for this patriotic red, white and blue sunrise

The balloons looks so awesome with the blue and clouded sky

Here are some pictures I captured of George and Max's daily tomato watering routine. Max gets so excited to help his daddy water the plants.
