Hawaii day 1

We left for the airport at 3:30 am, ouch. Thanks to dad for driving us all there so early! We flew to San Francisco and then to Hawaii. When we got on the flight to Hawaii there was a lady that asked is to switch seats with her. No problem. She was so grateful she even bought us a sandwich on the flight. She was super nice. We sat next to a guy named Greg. He was Hawaiian and very nice. I think it was a good contact for him to have with Mormons. We got to Hawaii and headed straight to the beach house. It was an amazing place! Then we went to Kailua beach park. Best and softest sand on the island! It was so much fun jumping in the waves with everyone but so weird not to have kids there. We were able to do FaceTime with the kids at the airport and it worked out ok. Lauren's world was rocked a little bit by not having me there when she woke up but I think Max helped her a lot. We left them in very capable hands. Thanks Cami, Katie and family!
We ate hamburgers for dinner and crashed so early!

"Let's burn this candle!"
we're off!

FaceTime success!
